Seattle Sounders FC Training Facility

It was such an honor to design and paint this mural for the Sounders’ new training facility. It is the tallest mural I’ve done (60 feet high) and it is also my most detailed design. The imagery celebrates the team’s beginnings, community support, and the beauty of the region. The central carnation represents the history of the team and how they gave carnations to the fans after games when they first played at Memorial Stadium in the 70’s. The colorful flags were inspired by the big energy of the fans at home games. The logo of the Reign FC is embodied in the purple crown at the top of the mural. At the base of the mural, the stripes represent the Salish Sea, the movement of a soccer ball, and feature the team colors of both the Sounders and the Reign.
